We are a general and family dentistry office in Danville serving patients of all ages. We are located on the eastern edge of Danville on Rockville Road/US 36. We opened our doors in January of 2005 as a brand new office.
The Three Pillars of Our
Practice Philosophy:
- Our job is to be a source of information for our patients. We will provide information, answer questions, and let you make decisions for you and your family. To that end, we have incorporated some of the newest technology available. Our digital x-rays and intraoral cameras will help bring you into the treatment planning loop and help you better understand dentistry. This allows you to make educated decisions for your oral health care.
- If we treat people right, business will take care of itself. Our intention at Danville Family Dentistry is to “wow” you with our personal care and attention. We will take the time to make sure that you have an unparalleled dental experience.
- Behind every good dentist is a great staff. I can confidently say that the staff at Danville Family Dentistry is top notch. Caring, compassionate, and professional only begins to describe Allison, Kris and Teresa; it is truly difficult to put into words how great they are. Come in and let us prove it to you!
We want to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to welcome you to our web site and to introduce ourselves and our practice. If we can ever do anything for you or answer any questions, please feel free to contact us. If you prefer, we would be happy to meet you and show you around the office before you schedule your appointment. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with us and our office. We look forward to meeting you and your family personally.

Dr. Jon EricksonI was born in Madison, WI. My dad went to UW Madison for grad school so I had no choice… I am a big Badger fan (sorry all of you Hoosier and Boiler fans, but my heart belongs to Bucky!). When I was 5 years old we moved to Batavia, IL, which is about 40 miles west of Chicago. I graduated from Millikin University (Decatur, IL) and met my beautiful wife while I was there. I came to Indianapolis for dental school and lived in Greenwood and Pike township while in school. I graduated in 1999 and worked in the Speedway area during my “rookie” years. I slowly began to shape and form my practice philosophies and understand what I really wanted my dental office to be like. I was always frustrated as a patient when I would go into a medical office, I would walk out, and not really understanding a diagnosis or why treatment was suggested. This concern is the root of our first practice philosophy pillar. I also realized that when a group of people are assembled for a reason (in our case to provide dental service), they are only as good as the worst person in the group. That is why Allison, Kris, Teresa, and Julie are so important to me. You can read my personal thoughts on each individual below. Our family moved to Hendricks County in 2000 and we love it here. I belong to Kingsway Christian Church and am involved in many areas of ministry there. My wife, Jennifer, has blessed me with two wonderful children, Courtney and Connor. I have always been a huge soccer fan, but don’t ask me to do too many drills anymore – I’m not as young and in shape as I used to be. That’s me in a nutshell… I look forward to getting to know you and your family. |

Allison - Patient Care CoordinatorI am so excited to have Allison on our team. She has such a wide range of experience in the dental field and has brought the knowledge she has acquired to our office. She is usually the first and last person seen at Danville Family Dentistry and I could not ask for a better “point-woman” for the office. Her professionalism, pleasant demeanor, and happy disposition have no equal. She is also our residential insurance specialist. Allison has done a wonderful job in helping our patients navigate the complexities of their dental insurance policies. She keeps our office efficient and productive by managing an orderly schedule. She is extremely devoted to her work and family and we are very lucky to have her at Danville Family Dentistry. Let me have Allison tell you more…. I grew up around Danville, IL and moved to the Indianapolis area in 2005. My interest in the dental field first began when I was in high school. I originally wanted to become a dental hygienist, but after working for a dental supply company for a few years I found myself drawn to the duties of front office personnel. Before working for Dr. Erickson, I worked in other dental offices with varying philosophies and business models and have loved every minute of it. I enjoy the multiple responsibilities of the front office and the varying ways I can help patients. One such responsibility is helping patients understand their dental insurance and maximize their benefits. I feel very blessed to say that I have an occupation that I truly love. When I am not working I love spending time with my boyfriend, Brad, and our children. Together we have five kids that keep us very busy with activities ranging from Boy Scouts to softball. I look forward to meeting you and helping you and your oral health. |

Kris – Dental AssistantKris is a great friend and colleague. Kris and I have worked together since 1997. Have you ever been around someone who knows how you think, understands your personality, and anticipates your needs? That is why Kris and I work so well together. She knows what I need and what I am going to do before I do. The compassion for our patients and clinical skills that Kris brings to our office is unparallelled. In my opinion all Kris needs is a few classes and a degree; she could be a dentist herself. Kris may be young, but she has been “doing dentistry” longer than I have and her clinical skills and chair side manner show it. I could not ask for a better assistant. Here is Kris in her own words…. I was born and raised in Brownsburg and I currently reside in the Tri-West area. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters, Grace and Ava. I have been in the dental field since 1994. I realized that I wanted to do something in the dental field when I was young. I remember observing my dad having dental treatment done. It seemed so interesting to me and I loved the idea of helping people. To me that is what dentistry is about… helping people and giving them the opportunity to show off their smile. Although I love what I do, my biggest enjoyment is being a mommy and spending time with my family. |

Teresa – HygienistAll I can say is you have to experience Teresa for yourself. Her energy and personality are a breath of fresh air. Teresa and I have worked together since 2001. Her clinical skills and knowledge are outstanding. I cannot tell you how many times patients have told me, “That was the best and gentlest cleaning I have ever had!” I have seen plenty of hygienists that clean every tooth very well, but the patient is walking away holding their jaw in pain. I have also seen the other end of the spectrum where the patient says the cleaning was “light as a feather,” but the teeth are not clean at all. Teresa is the best of both worlds; great and gentle touch with extremely clean teeth. Here is Teresa to tell you more…. As a child I had always had a positive experience going to the dentist. I have wanted to be a hygienist since I was a little girl. I feel very fortunate to have been able to follow that dream. I was a dental assistant for several years knowing that I wanted to attend dental hygiene school. I have been a hygienist since 2000 and still love my profession. I try to provide a thorough cleaning while also being as gentle as possible. My patients deserve a positive experience similar to what I enjoyed as a child. I am lucky to work in an office where I love everyone I work with. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, to whom I have been married since 2003. We have 2 beautiful boys that are 17 months apart; they keep us on our toes. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives. I hope to be able to talk to you soon (I will try not to do so while I have your mouth open)! |
