The Three Pillars of Our Practice Philosophy

Our job is to be a source of information for our patients.

The Danville Family Dentistry Team provides information, answers questions, and lets you make the decisions for you and your family. To that end, we have incorporated some of the newest technology available. Our digital x-rays and intraoral cameras will help bring you into the treatment planning loop and help you better understand dentistry. This allows you to make educated decisions for your oral health care.

Dr. Alyssa Stickley

Dr. Alyssa Stickley

Dr. Alyssa Stickley has lived in Indiana her entire life. She grew up on the Northeast side of Indianapolis and attended IU in Bloomington where she earned her B.S. in Psychology.

Ever since getting braces at age 12, Dr. Stickley had an interest in becoming a dentist. To help ensure it was the career for her, Alyssa worked as a dental assistant all 4 years in between classes while an undergrad at IU. Alyssa attended IU School of Dentistry for her professional school and graduated in 2012.

Dr. Stickley is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. Alyssa strives to provide the newest technologies and treatments; therefore, loves attending continuing education courses to better herself and her team for her patients. Dr. Stickley enjoys improving her patients’ smiles and confidence by offering orthodontic treatment in her office as a provider for both Invisalign and Six Month Smiles. Alyssa is also certified to administer Botox by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for treatment of TMJ symptoms and for fine-line reduction in the upper face.

Dr. Stickley and her husband, Austin, live in Zionsville with their two children, Abigail and Wyatt, and their dog, Hoosier. When away from the office, Alyssa loves spending time with her friends and family the most. She also enjoys attending bootcamp, golfing, bowling, traveling, concerts and watching IU Basketball.

Jennifer – Patient Care & Insurance Coordinator

Jennifer is amazing!  Our office would not run as smoothly if it were not for Jennifer.  She is our insurance expert, our patient care coordinator, and our quarterback, directing the team to victory; which is to make sure that we are providing you with an exceptional experience.  Jennifer’s professionalism, her experience and knowledge, mixed with her genuine compassion for our patients and willingness to go above and beyond will make you feel right at home.  She is the perfect fit for our office and I am so happy to have Jennifer as the face and voice of Danville Family Dentistry.  It is difficult to put into words how much she impacts our office experience…you’ll just have to come and experience Jennifer for yourself!  Here she is to tell you a little bit more about herself…

I was born and raised in central Illinois.  I have been married since 1996 and I have a beautiful daughter and a wonderful son who are growing up way too fast!  I grew up singing in church and at school and my dream was to be a backup singer for James Taylor (I got to see him in concert in Idaho… he was amazing!).  But being a mom and wife came first, so sorry James….  I enjoy music, going to my daughter’s sporting events, going to my son’s orchestra concerts, and whatever else my family is involved in (all you moms know what I mean!).  I love working with the Danville Family Dentistry Team and cannot wait to meet you and your family!

Cody – Dental Assistant

Cody is my right, and sometimes even my left, hand.  She is an exceptional assistant with a lot of experience in varying capacities.  She has worked in a wide array of  office settings and so her knowledge base and clinical skills are hard to beat.  She will help me make sure that your experience in our office is exceptional.  In order to be a great dentist, they need an assistant that exceeds expectations each and every time.  Cody is that assistant for me.  We are very blessed to have her on our team.  Here is Cody to let you know a little more

I grew up in Hazelwood, Indiana.  I moved to Coatesville in 2000 with my wonderful husband.  We have three children Brayden, Alexis, and Rylan.  My family enjoys being outdoors fishing, hunting, and most sports (my favorite is baseball).  I finished dental assisting school in 2000.  I have worked in many different dental specialties: Orthodontics for 8 years, Oral Surgery for 5 years, and before Danville Family Dentistry I had been at Riley Hospital in the Pediatric Dental Clinic as an expanded duties dental assistant for a year and a half.  I am so happy and proud to be a part of the family here at Danville Family Dentistry.  I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to meeting and caring for you and your smile!

Taylor – Hygienist

You will absolutely love Taylor. She is a caring individual with a gentle heart and her work ethic is outstanding.  She takes great pride in her work; she loves being a hygienist and it shows daily!  There are some skills in life that just cannot be taught; you either have it or you do not.  Being a good hygienist is one of those skills… and Taylor has it!  Taylor has a great touch that is gentle, yet effective.  She does a great job getting your teeth clean without feeling like you were put through the wringer.  We love having Taylor on our dentistry team and we know you will too!  Here is Taylor to tell you a little more about herself….

Hello! My name is Taylor and I would love to be your hygienist!  I received my bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.  Ever since I was in middle school I have known I wanted to be a dental hygienist.  When I was younger I did not have the greatest and straightest teeth.  I did not want to smile or show my teeth.  That all changed after I finished my braces!  I was more confident in not only my smile, but also in myself.  Ever since that experience, I have wanted to help others have similar experiences.  My husband and I grew up in Avon and now live in Brownsburg.  When I am not working I love being active and finding outdoor adventures like going for runs, finding and exploring new parks and towns in Indiana, and just being outdoors.  I also love trying new foods and finding new restaurants around Hendricks County.  I love the family atmosphere at Danville Family Dentistry and having the time to get to know my patients.  I cannot wait to meet you at your next cleaning with us!

Julie – Hygienist

We are very lucky to have Julie join our Danville Family Dentistry team. Julie and I worked at the same dental office for several years right after I graduated from dental school. I needed a part time hygienist at Danville Family Dentistry and Julie was able to fill that need. As I stated in Taylor’s bio, you cannot teach someone how to be a great hygienist; they either have the skills and talent or they do not.  Most offices are lucky to have one such hygienist.  We are lucky enough to have two such team members that were meant to be hygienists. Julie has a very comfortable touch and she will do a great job cleaning your teeth. She is a fantastic hygienist! Julie has a very easy going and laid back style that is very comforting while sitting in a dental chair. She is a good friend, a wonderful mother and wife for her family, and an even better hygienist. Here is Julie in her own words….

I grew up in the small town of Linton, Indiana, then moved to Plainfield after graduating from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1997. My husband and I have been married since 1997 and are raising two awesome children. Luke and Kylee are the center of our world! Hendricks County is a wonderful community to live in and work. I am very blessed to work with such great friends in a caring, compassionate, and comfortable dental office. It is a joy to go to work at Danville Family Dentistry. My family and I enjoy spending our free time outdoors, hunting, fishing, having a campfire, or watching Luke play sports. I look forward to seeing you in the office and giving the best care possible!
