A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that’s placed over a worn or damaged tooth and cemented into place. Besides strengthening the weaken tooth, a dental crown helps restore a tooth’s appearance, size, shape and/or alignment.

Plus, you should refrain from chewing ice or using your teeth to open things, which may crack your dental crown – or even cause it to fall out.
